LETS TALK ABOUT YOUR FAVT IPL TEAM OF 2018..
LET GET STARTED..

2018 is just around the corner! The eleventh edition of the biggest T20 league in the world is only 4 months away. This time around IPL is donning a new avatar!!  Numerous changes have been made in the player retention policies and auction rules. And guess what? Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals will be making a comeback this time around. The season promises to be a mouth-watering one that will make fans feel, “Why this is not April yet? Why?” 

As per the new player retention policy rules, a team is allowed to retain a maximum of 5 players through a combination of retentions and Right To Match Cards (RTM). The much-anticipated IPL auction is penciled in on January 27 and 28 at Bangalore.

When will IPL 11 start?

The season kicks off on April 4 and the final will be played on May 31. As always, the tournament will be played in double Round-Robin format i.e. each team will play two matches against every other team in league stage, one home and one away. 8 teams will battle out in 60 matches for the elusive IPL title.

Return of CSK and RR

Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals will return to the fold after serving a 2-year ban because of spot-fixing. The two teams last played the league in 2015. They will be looking to redeem themselves by putting up a good show this season.

Cloud hangs over Gambhir’s KKR captaincy

If reports are to be believed, KKR are not willing to retain Gautam Gambhir ahead of the auction. Although there hasn’t been any official announcement yet, we might see Gambhir going under the hammer at the auction. KKR under Gambhir’s captaincy has won 2 IPL titles in 2014 and 2016. Gambhir has been great leader and a prolific run scorer for KKR over the years.

 Dhoni’s return to CSK

Mahendra Singh Dhoni spent two years at Rising Pune Supergiants while CSK was serving the ban. He led them in 2016 but didn’t have a fruitful season and Pune finished second last on table. In 2017 he was stripped off captaincy as Pune decided to go with Steve Smith. However, the crowd-favourite will be back in yellow colours leading his earlier IPL franchise. Dhoni has led CSK to 2 IPL and 2 CLT20 titles.

Warner to lead SRH

David Warner has been Sunrisers Hyderabad’s most consistent batsman. There is no doubt Sunrisers decided to stick with their leader for the upcoming season. SRH posted on their Twitter handle that they have retained Warner and will follow his lead.

The Young Rising

The U-19 World Cup 2018 kicks off on January 13 in New Zealand, just two weeks before the auction. It is a fantastic opportunity for the young guns to showcase their skills and fetch big numbers at the auction. Mumbai’s player of the season in Ranji Trophy Prithvi Shaw, Nayan Mongia’s son Mohit Mongia, Master Blaster’s son Arjun Tendulkar and Steve Waugh’s son Austin Waugh are some bright prospects that could be picked at the auction  Also, we could see a number of uber-talented youngsters who have performed well in Ranji get picked.

Reports say Chennai’s three choices of retention are likely to be Dhoni, Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja and RCB are likely to keep Virat Kohli, Yuzvendra Chahal and Chris Gayle although the team haven’t made it official yet.

Since Honey Singh had announced about his next song, the fans went crazy and made it trend on Twitter. When the music superstar posted the teaser of the song, it went viral and not just his fans but everyone was waiting for the songs.

It was worth the wait, Honey Singh yet again delivered a treat in time for the party season giving the millennials a song to dance to this festive season.
The Song has garnered 10 million in just 20 hours of its release only on YouTube. And Ever Since the time, it was released it became one of the most viewed songs globally within 24 hours, so can we say that it is India’s biggest viewed song until today?
The audience proved it by even trending the teaser of the song. The song and the teaser both are trending on YouTube India.
True to his style Honey has delivered yet another desi dance number with Dil Chori from Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
The music superstar’s this song was one of the most awaited songs. He has revamped and reenergized the classic song Dil Chori which was sung by Hans Raj Hans.
The song Dil Chori is a Hindi – Bhangra fusion and is touted to be an upbeat dance number.
Honey Singh’s last song Dheere Dheere has been a record breaker and has topped charts and trends and seems he is back to do the same with this track.

                               Look at the schedule of the Indian team in 2018 in which they are scheduled to play 47 matches (approx)

                 2017 was a year to remember for the Indian team as they ended it without losing a bilateral series, barring the one-off T20I against West Indies. The Men in Blue ended with 37 wins in the 53 matches they played this year with a winning percentage of 70.
After playing a majority of their Cricket at home, in Sri Lanka and in the Carribean islands, the Indian team will have their task cut out in 2018 as they are scheduled to tour South Africa and Australia.
What else do the Indian team have at stake in 2018? Let us take a look at the schedule of the Indian team in 2018 in which they are scheduled to play 47 matches (approx).
India tour of South Africa: January 5 to February 24

India will kick off 2017 with the tour of South Africa that will get underway at the Newlands in Capetown on January 5. Over the next month and a half, Virat Kohli and co. will take on the Proteas in three Tests, six ODIs and three T20Is.

This is one of the most anticipated series as this is the first time the current Indian team will travel overseas for a competitive series (not including the tour of Sri Lanka and West Indies) since the 2015 New Year Test in Sydney. This is also the first time Kohli will be leading an Indian team in conditions that are unfamiliar to the Indian cricketers.
The matches that will be taking place on this tour will be telecasted on channels owned by Sony Pictures Network India private limited.
Tri-series in Sri Lanka for the Nidahas Trophy: March

Right after India's tour of South Africa, the Indian team will be taking part in a T20I tri-series to mark the 70th anniversary of Sri Lankan independence. The series will be called Nidahas Trophy and it involves Bangladesh and hosts Sri Lanka as the other two teams.
SLC has already announced that the series will start on March 8 and three teams will play each other twice while the top two will play in the final on March 20. Colombo's R Premadasa Stadium will host all the seven matches in the tournament and the matches will be telecasted on channels owned by Sony Pictures Network India private limited.
Indian Premier League: April-May

The eleventh edition of the Indian Premier League will be played from April 4 till May 31 (tentative dates) and the Governing Council is expected to release the schedule anytime. The 2018 IPL auction will take place on January 27 and 28 and this year's auction will have almost all the players coming into the auction pool.
2018 IPL will also see Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals coming back into the fray after serving a suspension for two years. It is also expected that this edition will have a total of 60 matches and Star Sports will be the official broadcasters for this tournament.
India tour of United Kingdom: June-September

The Indian team will get a brief break after the IPL ahead of their tour of England. It is expected that some players will be travelling to the United Kingdom to play in the County Championships in order to get familiar with the conditions in the European nation ahead of their long tour that gets underway on July 3.

                           The tour will kick start with a three-match T20I series followed by three ODIs and five Tests that will go on till September 11. Star Sports have the rights to telecast this series. Before the start of the T20I series against England, India is expected to play a couple of ODIs against the Irishmen in Ireland.
Asia Cup: September

Shortly after the England series, Kohli and his men will play in the Asia Cup in their own backyard. The tournament will tentatively start on September 15 and will go on for the next two weeks with the final being scheduled for September 30.
Apart from hosts India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan are certain to take part in the tournament and the sixth team will be the winner of the 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier. The matches will be telecasted on Star Sports.
West Indies tour of India: October- November

According to ICC's FTP, India are scheduled to host West Indies in FTP, India are scheduled to host West Indies in three Tests, five ODIs and one T20I in October but there is no confirmation about the series till date.
India tour of Australia: November 2018-February 2019

Towards the end of the year, India will tour Australia where they will play at least four Test matches. Since there is time for the series to get underway and the host association, Cricket Australia, are busy with their ongoing season, there is no clear picture on the number of Tests India will play and their participation in any limited-overs tournament involving the Men in Blue.
This series will be broadcasted live on channels owned by Sony Pictures Network India private limited.

Mumbai: Ever since Aamir Khan opted out of highly anticipated Rakesh Sharma biopic, rumours of Shah Rukh Khan being roped in for the same have made the news. But looks like the makers have to begin the hunt for other actor as the 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' star confirmed in a media event today that he hasn’t signed the film.
                       
               Shah Rukh Khan said,

"I have not signed any film. I am working on the dwarf film. Maybe after a couple of months, I will decide (what to do).I have been meeting Siddharth Roy Kapur and Ronnie Screwala (producers of Sharma biopic), a lot of directors and producers but I have not confirmed any film.”
The 52-year-old actor also talked about his upcoming movie, in which he plays the role of a dwarf and stated that it is the most advanced film made in the world.
The 'Raees' star stated, “The protagonist is vertically challenged and that is quite a difficult task to pull off. But we are working on giving the audience a world-class visual experience and I can assure it is the most advanced film ever. I am saying this confidently as my company (Red Chillies) is working on it. Such films are not made very often and the entire team is giving it the best shot.”
The yet untitled film that also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in important roles is slateed for Chritsman 2018 release.

Dear ZIndagi has a lot of genius in it, be it the heart warming and very real Aliaa Bhat as Kaira, the nuanced nitty gritties and perspectives of Gauri Shinde, the beautiful locale of Goa, and the beautiful actors portrayed in a very real life like manner. But it is Dr Jehangir Khan aka Jug played by Shah Rukh Khan that stays with us forever.

Here are some of the life lessons that Jug narrates during the film, that make us take a step back and ponder:

LESSON (1)

Genius is not someone who has all the answers, but someone who has the patience for all the answers.

LESSON (2)

Kabhi kabhi hum mushkil raasta sirf isliye chunte hain kyunki humein lagta hai important cheezein paane ke liye humein mushkil raaste apnana chahiye. But why? Asaan raaste kyun nai chun sakte? Kya burai hai usme? Khas kar ki jab us mushkil ka saamna karne ke liye hum taiyaar hi nahi hain.

SRK about DWARF project: It was during his birthday in November that Shah Rukh Khan had spoken about his upcoming film with Aanand L Rai. We are eagerly waiting to see the first glimpse of this film as the superstar would be playing a dwarf in this one. SRK had revealed that the first poster would be out soon, but till now nothing from the film has been unveiled.

So at a recent event, we asked SRK about this delay, to which he said, “This film is a little difficult one. If a person is playing a person who is vertically challenged, especially like this and for a person who is a movie star, who is known for doing a little more romantic roles, there are many if and buts about whether he will be accepted or will it not be. There are two things about this film that I am very proud of. It is the most advanced VFX film made in the world and not just in India. That’s why it is taking a little longer than we also thought. We are giving it the best shot possible because such films are not made again and again. As it is visually so heavy, it is taking time. Money is also being spent. We want to be very exact about it. Film’s title is ready, the tag line is also ready, the image is also ready. As I speak, I have seen it also and it looks quite nice. Just a few days, a few finishing touches and Aanand L Rai sir will certainly share it.”
