TVS EnTorq 125 has been launched for Rs 58,700 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
This is an all new scooter that the company states will target the youth. TVS had showcased the Graphite concept at the 2016 Auto Expo. This is the production version of this scooter. The new EnTorq 125 will become company’s 125cc scooter. TVS states that this scooter will be made available in all the showrooms by next week. The design is all new, the features offered are additional and even enhancement in technology. If you recall the Entorq, it has been named on the same one. The Graphite was showcased with an AMT, but the EnTorq doesn’t get that.
In terms of styling it gets a lot more features than the regular ones. The all new TVS EnTorq 125 gets a front end that has been derived from the Graphite. It has daytime running LED and 12-inch tyre too. The other important bit on this scooter is the complete styling. The tyres are thicker. The rear is stylish and it gets T shaped LEDs on the tail lamp. There are many bits that have been focused on with detail. The TVS EnTorq 125 gets a 125cc engine that churns about 9bhp of power and comes with CVTi-REVV transmission. This engine churns about 9 bhp of power and it has a top speed of 95km/hr.

The pricing of this scooter seems to be justified. It gets all the bells and whistles one is looking for in a 125cc scooter with the best in class performance too.

It might be correct say this figure, but from what we understand it should be somewhere close to 40-50km/l. But in the city, the CVT should have an edge. In hard acceleration AMT will gain back the advantage.
TVS Entorq 125 Design
TVS EnTorq 125 comes with a new fascia. This looks a lot more stylish than the Graphite on which it was based on. The EnTorq comes with a conventional headlamp, not on the handle though. It has an integrated daytime running LED in it. The other important aspect in the styling is the appealing side profile. The side is dominated with dual tone colour shade. The tyre size is 12-inch and it has diamond cut alloy wheels. The petal disc brake is also a new bit added on this scooter. Also, the new EnTorq 125 even has LED tail lamps. This also looks appealing and it is stylish too. Some might not like the front of the EnTorq but the side and rear do look cool.
TVS EnTorq 125 Features
The TVS EnTorq is the first scooter with bluetooth connectivity. When the phone is paired, it shows who has messaged or called, shows navigation and even battery indicator. The other important bit on the EnTorq 125 is its new app. This app helps to locate the scooter, if you do not remember where you have parked it. The other important bit is that the NTorq 125 gets mobile charging and even a light. It also gets the fuel cap outside. The scooter isn’t a fully metal one like the Honda Activa 4G.
TVS EnTorq 125 Competition
The major competition scooters to the TVS EnTorq 125 will be the Honda Activa 125 and the Mahindra Gusto 125. There is also the Suzuki Access 125. The other competing scooter is the Vespa 125cc scooters to some extent.

This will be an all new engine that TVS claims to be the fastest. This scooter can do 0-60km/hr in 9 seconds. The new TVS EnTorq will be powerful and the engine will have 3 valves. This engine will have three modes of riding. This is similar to the Honda Grazia. You cannot change the mode, it shows the mode the rider is in with the amount of twist of throttle. The tyres are also comparatively meaty. The front ones are 100/80 12 and the rear gets 110/80 12.
